wear red

My sister Ashley was in charge of a 5k run on Saturday morning at Sugarhouse Park. It was for cardiology employees and patients and their families. I wanted to run it but Ashley said she really needed help coordinating things so Adam and I went to volunteer. We had to wear red to designate ourselves as helpers. It was fun to get up early on a Saturday morning and be outside. We got to drive along the race route ahead of time and write things in chalk to help cheer on people as they ran. It was fun. Ashley did a great job and things went really smoothly. This was the 4th year she's put it on, and I think the best so far. It was a fun start to our weekend!
