summer fun

We had a crazy summer in our house. We tried to have a lot of fun but there was also a lot of school going on too. We were super busy but took lots of pictures of our adventures. We just didn't have any time to post them!

We went to Wyoming at the beginning of the summer to see Adam's grandparents who were in town from Houston. Emi and Kylee always have such a fun time playing together. Kylee drove Emi around in her truck and they also had a ton of fun playing with the hose outside. Emi LOVES water and kept sticking her head under the water even though it was freezing cold water. We love our trips to Wyoming!

memorial day

We went to Wyoming for Memorial Day, as has become tradition. It's always fun to have an extra day to stay and play. Kevin and Jackie came as well but for some reason I don't have any pictures with them! I took most of the pictures on Sunday night and Monday after they had already gone home. We had fun though and the girls had a blast playing together. Five little girls ages 4 and under...it was crazy!

Emi had a blast playing in the entertainment center

She also loved giving rides in the baby stroller to anyone who would take one

I think these two will be best friends in another year or two (they love each other now but the age difference is still pretty pronounced)

Sunday night we went on the mountain and did fireworks. Look at the look on these two's faces...looking over their stash and deciding what to light first!

this one totally backfired and scared me to death!

emi's first hike

We went to Wyoming for the long weekend and Emi went on her first hike. It was a very mini hike, but we'll still call it one. She loves to be outside and she had a blast (don't let her serious face in the pictures mislead you). We took her up to the waterfall (and don't let the lack of water in the pictures mislead you either--it's a big waterfall for Wyoming). We went up on the mountain while we were there too and she loved the ride-- the bumpier the better! Here are some pictures of our fun.

4 days of hammonds and lots of pictures

We had 4 days of fun visiting Adam's family in Wyoming last weekend. His cousin Linda was visiting from New York and our friends Kevin and Jackie came too. We all had a blast hanging out, off-roading on the mountain, playing with the kids and eating cream slush after cream slush from Sonic.

Friday before we went to Wyoming Adam's mom and sister Michelle (and of course baby Kylee) came to town to pick up Linda from the airport. I was off work so we all went shopping. It was such a fun girls day! I got this cute dress too!

After Adam got off work we headed to Wyoming. We didn't get there until late so we didn't do much that night.

Saturday Marc took us up the mountain and we hit all the big mud holes. It was so fun splashing through them in his big truck. It literally covered the entire truck, I should have taken a picture.
I took pictures of Kylee that day and they turned out so cute! She is such a little cutie and the best model ever! Here are a few of our favorites:

Sunday after church we hit the mountain again. We went to this awesome waterfall and had fun off-roading again and then we went to the park and played on a zip line.

That night we went back up on the mountain at sunset to try to find some wild horses to show Linda. We had to drive around awhile to find them but we finally found a few.

I hope my mom doesn't read this...I may be 27 but I have a feeling she'd still have something to say about that!

We had such a fun time and were not ready to go home on Monday!
