Well, we had a great time and we all survived. I was not worried about Emi surviving, but was a little worried about me. We did have a blast though and had forgotten what it was like to just be together without having to worry about naps, feedings, diapers and the like.
We stayed at Caesar's Palace and it was fun to stay right on the strip. I hadn't done that since I was a kid and Adam never had. Since we flew and didn't have a car we pretty much just bummed around on the strip the whole time. We took in all the free shows, rode the New York New York roller coaster and did and lot of shopping and even more eating. It rocked. We got free tickets to PURE, the nightclub at Caesar's Palace all the celebrities go to. Even though I hate nightclubs, I thought it would be fun to check it out if it was free. I mostly was dying to see what it looks like inside. They have a dress code though...no sneakers...and Mr. Skate Shoes didn't bring anything else so we didn't go. Maybe next time.
We had a fun-filled weekend and were more than ready to see our little chick when we got home!
