our 4th of July weekend

We had such a fun holiday weekend! Thursday night we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with Ashley and Jeremy. Friday my friend Kristyn came over for breakfast. I made these delicious brie stuffed french toast and Adam made sausage and hash browns. Then we sat around and talked and then went to the mall. Later that afternoon we put Emi in her new swimming pool. The water was warm, so it was more like a bath to her, but it was fun to see her splash around a little in her swimsuit. That night we had a campfire in my mom's backyard and roasted hot dogs, starburst and s'mores. Saturday we went to the Kaysville breakfast and parade and then to my aunt Sally's house for more food! That night we watched fireworks in my mom's front yard because Emi was already in bed. Sunday we celebrated Rod's birthday and had dinner and cake and ice cream. The boys set up a slip-n-slide in the yard since it was too cold the days before. Emi got in her pool again too. Emi grew up a lot this weekend and her personality is showing more every day.
