It is officially summer. Not because of the solstice or the temperature or because Emi has been wearing tank tops and shorts but because I got my first snowcone of the year today. Rejoice! I love snowcones. My favorite--tiger's blood and raspberry. The more syrup they put in the better. I love the taste of drinking straight sugar mixed with the feeling of the cold ice going down my throat. One night last year I made Adam drive around town looking for a snowcone shack and we finally found one. This year it returned and Emi and I stopped by today. She cried the whole time while I was getting it. I think she was jealous!

Yum! I love the pictures of Emi below. I especially love the 1st and 2nd. Her little face, especially her nose, is just so perfect! And her gorgeous blue eyes, oh!!!
I am thinking I will be coming to Utah sometime in August, and I will for sure be there in Oct/Nov. Of course we will have to get together!!! I can't wait to see you and sweet little Emi.
By the way, the Disney Land half marathon sounds so perfect. I really want to go run it with you, but I don't think I'll be up for it! You're amazing!!!
And, yes I finally cut my hair. Like I should have done all those years ago in Nice when you guys tried to talk me into it. I was so chicken!
Mmm...snow cones! I remember last summer when you guys were asking us if we knew where a snow cone place was. Glad you found one and can get your snow cone fix. We're excited to see you guys next week!

Oh I love snowcones too, I have been craving them this whole pregnancy, but of course they weren't open for most of it so I made Derek buy me a little snow cone maker from Walmart so I could have them whenever I want! LOL
