Juno

This is my new favorite movie. I absolutely loved it. It's cheeky and funny and you feel like you're really just an observer of this girl's quirky life. I love how she talks and how she relates to people. I already want to see it again. I want to go rent some other movies that Ellen Page is in because I think she's a great actress. Either that or this part was perfect for her. I highly recommend seeing it. If you haven't heard of it check out the trailer below. And if you see it let me know what you think!

Allison, this is Darci! You may not remember me very well, but I worked with you at Kiddie Kandids for a little while. Last time I saw you, I think you were going out of state or to live with your mom or something because you were sick (do I have that right at all???) I stumbled onto your blog through Melissa's blog, and had to leave a comment because I also saw Juno and absolutely loved it. Whoever came up with all those lines is a genious! And Ellen Page is adorable. Well, anyways, glad to see things are going wonderfully for you. I think you can click on our name and see our blog, or you can connect from Melissa's blog if you want to. You look great in your pics :)

Doug and I actually saw Juno on Saturday night. Both Michael Cera and Jason Bateman were in the show Arrested Development - one of Doug's favorites - so we had to go see it, of course. Anyhow we both thought it was very clever and funny (although I was weirded out about Juno's visits with Mark). All in all, a great movie.
My personal favorite:
Juno: You're like the coolest person I know...and you don't even try.
Bleeker: Actually, I try really hard.

Okay, that movie looks awesome. I've never even heard of it. I absolutely love Allison Janney, and who doesn't like Rainn Wilson using words like "homeskillet"?

Thanks for the recommendation.

Is that Moldy Peaches on the soundtrack?

Okay, it's all coming back to me now! I remember thinking you and Ali sort of looked alike, a little bit anyways. That's funny you remember my pants ripping! I remember the look on the Dad's face in that sitting, and then I had to waddle down to Mervyn's to buy some pants. It's fun to read your blog and see how you are doing. I will check it out from time to time!

I have never heard of Moldy Peaches, but I just looked up the soundtrack on itunes and sure enough, Moldy Peaches! That movie has some cool music in it, I'm thinking about buying the soundtrack.
