another good one

Adam and I went to the OneRepublic concert on Wednesday. It was amazing. I love when a band is better live than they are on their album. And that's hard to beat because I think their album is amazing. It was refreshing to go to a concert where the singer wasn't high and/or dropping f-bombs all over. He was just a regular guy with some fantastic talent. And we thought the opening band The Daylights rocked too. I've been to a lot of concerts--John Mayer, Something Corporate, Dave Matthews, Mat Kearney, The Used, Jack's Mannequin, Dashboard Confessional, Guster, Imogen Heap, Taking Back Sunday, 3rd Eye Blind, The Starting Line, Anna Nalick, Yellowcard, Mae, The Format, Lifehouse, Jimmy Eat World, Howie Day, Evanescence...you get the idea...and this was easily one of the best. And most of those were really great (with the exception of Taking Back Sunday--horrible). But this was just so so so good. Well worth almost getting jumped for beating someone to a parking spot, standing out in the freezing cold in line, even worth waiting while the Gavin DeGraw wannabe played what seemed like 10 million songs. It was definitely well worth it to hear goodbye apathy, say, apologize, prodigal, and so many others while watching Ryan Tedder in all his piano and guitar playing glory. If you didn't take my advice before...I would get this album now if I were you...love it.

Oh yeah, and I desperately wanted some pictures from the concert, but I could only bring in my little camera and it would not cooperate. I almost asked the guy next to me if he would email his pictures to me because I peeked at his blackberry and he got some really good ones--but I chickened out. Oh well.
