A few weeks ago our friends Aaron and Kristyn Boyd were in town as part of a visit on their way to their new (temporary) home in China. They both have a lot of family in Utah so Adam and I were lucky enough to snag them for an evening of Cafe Rio and the Gateway mall! We don't get to see them very often because they are always living in some exotic place or another nowhere near us, but it is always fun when we get together. So it was sort of our last time hanging out until at least Christmas when we hope to see them when they come to visit family again. Kristyn is my friend from my semester in Paris, where we formed a special bond over Nutella, the Champs-Elysees and our scooters. Over the past 5 years we have gotten even closer thanks to boring desk jobs and email. Adam and I are very inspired by Aaron and Kristyn and here's why:
- they are very cultured and daring enough to move to Beijing for a year where they don't know anyone and they don't even seem nervous about it
- Aaron has already started his business and seems to know exactly what he's doing
- they seem to have a great vision for their lives and are always looking forward to what they'll be doing next and where they'll be living after their current adventure
Hopefully someday Adam and I will be somewhere close to as cool and successful as the Boyds! Anyway, they will be in China for a year and we will really miss them but can't wait to hear about all their adventures! Here are the pictures from our last hurrah...

You are so lucky that you got to see Kristyn and Aaron before they left. If only I had scheduled my visit a week earlier...oh well. Can't wait to see you Allison!
